Embedded, Mobile and Microcontroller Projects
Cameron Software's embedded projects include ultra small PIC microcontrollers, Java enabled cell phones and Palm Pilot PDAs.

Electric Vehicle Monitoring System (2004)
Cameron Software has been developing an Electric Vehicle (EV) battery management system to
monitor each battery in the pack, control discharge and charge, and display vital information on an easy to view,
touch screen for the driver.
PIC Microcontrollers, PicBasic, .Net, RS232, RS485

Cell Phone Database (2001)
As the senior designer/developer of this project a product was developed that
enabled large businesses to use disconnected distributed database applications through
limited connection devices such as Palm Pilots, cell phones and wireless pagers.
Key to this technology is the synchronization server which keeps all subscribing
(disconnected) clients in sync with information publishers (typically server databases).
Java, Palm Pilot, J2ME, Java Cell Phones, Servlets

Field Sales Automation on Palm Pilots (2001)
The field automation project uses Palm Pilots as the input to back end databases for sales and marketing information.
As the senior developer/designer working with this leading edge technology (Java on the Palm),
Cameron Software was required to develop the entire infrastructure, including the DBMS, GUI controls and
server synchronization. This reusable infrastructure was the groundwork for application development.
