Chronic Disease Management (2004)
Cameron Software provided the technical lead and application design for the CDM system. The specialized team developed
a system using latest in extreme programming techniques to enable the rapid development of the system.
This would have been a sixth month project by any other development method, however our team developed and
deployed a high quality system to production in under three months.

Enterprise Java Application Development with UML and J2EE(2003)
In an effort to bring together a repeatable, prescriptive, process for development of enterprise applications
within the Java realm, Cameron Software has been designing a full end-to-end specific process for mapping UML
analysis to design to J2EE architecture, complete with reference application and process models.

Cell Phone Database (2001)
As the senior designer/developer of this project a product was developed that
enabled large businesses to use disconnected distributed database applications through
limited connection devices such as Palm Pilots, cell phones and wireless pagers.
Key to this technology is the synchronization server which keeps all subscribing
(disconnected) clients in sync with information publishers (typically server databases).

Field Sales Automation on Palm Pilots (2001)
The field automation project uses Palm Pilots as the input to back end databases for sales and marketing information.
As the senior developer/designer working with this leading edge technology (Java on the Palm),
Cameron Software was required to develop the entire infrastructure, including the DBMS, GUI controls and
server synchronization. This reusable infrastructure was the groundwork for application development.

Java Server Pages Pilot (2000)
The Ministry of Forests, needed a
new development environment for developing web enabled applications using Java.
As the senior designer, Don Cameron was responsible for developing the Model View Controller design structure for
Java Server Pages and exploiting the use of JSP tag libraries to support application development within this environment.

Java Enterprise Models (1999)
A 6 month project to research Java and its use within enterprise applications. As application architect, Don Cameron's
responsibilities included the set up an Apache/DB2/Linux server with Jakarta Tomcat Java servlet engine.
Development work included tying the Swing API to JDBC through the use of the Document/View/Controller model.
