Testing the Drive Before Installation

• Functioning of controller and throttle pot
• A chance to learn the computer interface to the controller (SIADIS)
• Check the transmission adapter for vibrations throughout the full range of RPM

Here is the setup of the drive testing. Twelve 12V car batteries were connected together, then connected to the controller, contactors, throttle pot and the drive system (according to the installation manual). Notice the old 486 laptop to the right. This runs the controller program SIADIS.
